Curious Cat Theatre is a new amateur theatre group in Utrecht (the Netherlands). Our goal is to show that theatre can be thought-provoking as well as entertaining. Expect plays that range from comedy to science fiction and from well-loved classics to newly written plays by Curious Cats. But always with tightly-plotted storylines, sharp dialogue and something interesting to learn. And on the ‘pure entertainment’ side we are delighted to bring you interactive murder mysteries: a cast of characters you can only love or hate, a murder on stage, a quirky detective and the chance to interrogate everyone and find out whodunit!

Curious Cat Theatre aims to work with an ensemble of actors. We may host open auditions in the future, keep an eye on our website!

We are currently working to get the group started – expect our first performances in November or December 2026! This will be an interactive murder mystery: We wish you a Murderous Christmas.
